This Cookie Notice explains how Skinda uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) when you visit our website or use our apps, and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences over time. We also use related technologies such as browser local storage — for example, to remember your cookie choice on this site.
2. The cookies we use
- Strictly necessary (essential)
- Required to run Skinda — for sign-in sessions and authentication (Supabase), security, and remembering your cookie preference. These cannot be switched off in our systems.
- Analytics (optional)
- We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate, de-identified usage so we can improve the Service. These run only in line with your consent choice and are not used to advertise to you.
- Payment provider
- When you subscribe, Stripe may set cookies needed to process the payment securely and to help prevent fraud.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not use cookies to profile your face photos.
3. Managing your choices
- Use the cookie banner shown on your first visit to accept analytics or choose “essential only.” Your choice is remembered on your device.
- You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time; note that blocking essential cookies may break sign-in and other features.
- You can opt out of Google Analytics across sites using Google’s browser add-on.
4. Changes and contact
We may update this Cookie Notice as our technologies change. Questions? Email privacy@skinda.app.
